Heartworm Disease
Heartworm disease is caused by a parasitic worm that lives in the right side of the heart and the adjacent blood vessels. The disease is transmitted from dog to dog via mosquitoes during the Spring to Fall seasons.
Prevention of heartworm disease is very important for your pet regardless of age or breed. Heartworm disease if not prevented or controlled can lead to the death of your pet.
We offer several products designed for the prevention of heartworm and offer control of other parasites. Please ask our staff for more information regarding heartworm prevention.
