Flea Control

During the warmer months your pet is at risk of encountering Fleas, regardless of whether your pet is primarily indoor/outdoor, young or old. Fleas survive by feeding on your pet’s blood causing severe skin irriation and allergenic reactions. In extreme cases flea infestations can cause skin infection.

Fleas are small parasitic insects that live on your pet. The problem begins when a flea jumps on your pet and has its first meal. The adult female flea can lay from 10-15 eggs a day which can fall off your pet, litering your home and yard. After a few days these eggs hatch into larvae which develop a pupa or cocoon and then into new adult fleas.

New advancements in parasite control allow for easy and safe treatment and prevention against fleas. Veterinarians offer the safest and most sophisticated products available for flea prevention and control.
