What happens when an animal is Spayed or Neutered?
An ovariohysterectomy (spay) is the removal of the female animal’s ovaries and uterus. The surgery requires an overnight stay at the hospital. An orchidectomy (neuter)is the removal of the male animal’s testicles and generally requires no overnight stay at the hospital.
