Spaying

Spaying a female pet involves the complete removal of the pet’s uterus and ovaries. This procedure eliminates any risk of pregnancy and heat cycles. Spaying your pet reduces instances of some diseases. Studies have shown, that animals spayed before their first heat have a lowered risk of mammary cancers.

A pet’s behaviour is very unlikely to change after spaying. However, due to a change in metabolism; food quantity should be monitored during the recovery period.
